Haltermann Partners, Inc. is a real estate development company which buys, renovates, leases and manages commercial buildings in downtown Augusta, Georgia. Incorporated in 1988, the company buys existing buildings, renovates them for commercial, office, and residential tenants, and manages these buildings for long-term ownership. The company currently has approximately 38 commercial tenants (first floor storefronts) and 66 residential tenants (second and third floor apartments) all in historic buildings. This represents approximately 110,000 square feet of mixed-use property. Haltermann Partners, Inc. also owns approximately 120,000 square feet of unrenovated space for future development. Principal Bryan Haltermann has been involved in the development of historic commercial properties since 1980. Haltermann's initial experience in this field began with activities in historic preservation planning and the application for federal investment tax credit for renovating historic buildings. Haltermann has been responsible for over 30 successful certifications of historic renovations. Haltermann also has worked with a number of non-profit organizations related to historic preservation and development including: The Augusta-Richmond County Historic Preservation Commission (Chairman and Commissioner), Historic Augusta, Inc.
